Connect your agent to expert content.
XData exposes a public remote MCP endpoint for approved users. Once connected, agents can search the shared corpus, fetch full records for citation, and request new public URLs for ingestion.

Authentication uses OAuth for Claude and ChatGPT connectors. API keys can be issued for headless scripts and command-line clients that cannot complete browser sign-in.
Claude
- Open Settings, then Connectors.
- Add a custom web connector.
- Paste the MCP endpoint above and complete the email sign-in flow.
ChatGPT
- Add XData as a custom connector or Deep Research source.
- Use the same MCP endpoint URL.
- Enable Developer Mode in chats when you want access to all XData tools.
Codex, Claude Code, Cursor
Use the remote HTTP MCP endpoint with OAuth where supported. For non-interactive jobs, request an XData API key and pass it as a bearer token.
